A share market, also known as a stock market, is a platform where shares of publicly traded companies are bought and sold. When a company goes public, it issues shares of stock, which are bought by investors. These shares represent ownership in the company and entitle the shareholder to a portion of the company's profits in the form of dividends, as well as the right to vote on important company decisions.
