After his engagement ends badly, Josh decides to take advantage of his bachelor-party plans in Ojai, California, with the few friends still willing to join him. Als Joshy eines Abends nach Hause kommt, muss er feststellen, dass seine Verlobte sich umgebracht hat. Und das auch noch am seinem Geburtstag. Da sein verkiffter Freund Ari feststellt, dass er seine Kaution für das für die Bachelor-Party gebuchte Haus nicht wiederbekommt, treten er, Josh und seine restlichen Freunde nur vier Monate nach dem tragischen Ereignis den Trip an. An einem Wochenende voller Alkohol, Drogen und Videospielen soll Josh seinen Kummer vergessen.
