As Vanessa experiences his lavish lifestyle, mobster-type friends, gun play, and encounters with past women, Vanessa must reconcile her faith in God and her growing love for Miles. ---------- Miles Montego hat seine Vergangenheit als Drogendealer hinter sich gelassen. Seinen Reichtum hat er jedoch behalten und durch seinen auffälligen Lebensstil inklusive Villen, Frauen und schicken Autos fällt er dem Anti-Drogendezernat immer wieder ins Auge. Miles hat sich geschworen, nie einen Freund oder einen ehemaligen Kollegen zu verraten, was ihn immer wieder mit dem Gesetz in Schwierigkeiten kommen lässt. Eines Tages trifft Miles auf Vanessa, der er sofort verfällt. Doch sie ist eine loyale Kirchgängerin und in vielen anderen Punkten das exakte Gegenteil von ihm. Miles' Leben wird von Vanessa stark beeinflusst und verändert. Es fällt ihm schwer, seine alten Freunden aus der Drogenszene mit seiner Beziehung zu Vanessa in Einklang zu bringen und so muss er schließlich eine Entscheidung treffen.
