Annie musste mitansehen, wie ihre beste Freundin vergewaltigt und ermordet wurde. Nun machen die beiden Killer Jagd auf sie. Auf der Flucht stößt sie auf den Eremiten Kyle, der ein zurückgezogenes Leben als Eremit mitten im Wald führt.
