The West/South West beaches of the island of Folegandros (Livadaki and Ampeli).

Pebbles (little round stones) and thick sand beaches, far away from civilization...

A perfect place to loose contact with the world and stay face to face with the unbelievable green/turquoise of the water!

The Livadaki beach is for the most courageous ones (45min-1h walking). It offers an amazing cliff scenery, which has nothing to envy from the American Far-West, and some large flat plates of rocks where sunbathing turns to something special...without anything else on sight than the sea. The shape of the bay is comparable to a huge swimming-pool (with bright green color though...).

The Ampeli beach is reachable by dirt road. It is a closed bay with caves into the rocks on each side and a not-so-big area where to put your towel. A high cliff overhang the whole scenery, with a little forest of trees on the top of it.

Let's have a bath in Poseidon's swimming-pool!
