Water Into Wine Band — Hill Climbing For Beginners 1973 (UK, Folk/Christian Rock)
  • last year
A two-album band formed by students at the University of Cambridge in 1971. The band released their debut album in 1973. At the end of the same year, the band re-recorded the album for the American market. The American version of "Hill Climbing For Beginners" did not please everyone. Mark Allen Powell's Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music reports that "critics consider the American version a parody, and collectors value the original UK edition at £250".
