Michelle Michaels no long has faith in love or Christmas as she finds herself with what appears to be another unfaithful man who breaks her heart on yet another Christmas. Depressed on Christmas Eve she cancels her Christmas party, however her friend and co-worker Daphne Jordan did not get the message and arrives with her husband Trent. Upon their arrival Trent immediately notices Michelle's sadness and volunteers his wife to talk to her to cheer her up. Unable to back out of the counseling session her husband thrusts upon her Daphne offers her friendship. Needing a friend Michelle accepts. After hearing Michelle's story and seeing her sadness, ironically Daphne can totally relate and she and Trent share their love story with Michelle to encourage to never give up on love and never stop believing in Christmas miracles.
