Tropical Storm Nicole to become hurricane ahead of Florida landfall: Timeline of arrival
As of Wednesday afternoon, Nicole made landfall in the Bahamas and the center of the storm is passing over Great Abaco Island with maximum winds up to 70 mph. Nicole is near hurricane strength and is expected to make landfall in Florida as a Category 1 storm.

WHEN WILL NICOLE MAKE LANDFALL IN FLORIDA?

The storm, however, is expected to weaken while moving across Florida and the southeastern United States Thursday through Friday, and it is likely to become a post-tropical cyclone by Friday night over the Mid-Atlantic states, the NHC said in its advisory.
