The historic anti-hijab protest in Iran extended to the Qatar World Cup. Several anti-regime demonstrators were detained both inside and outside Khalifa Stadium on Monday when Iran played England in its opening match of the competition. Inside the stadium, a number of demonstrators were seen holding placards that said "woman, life, freedom." T-shirts bearing the names of female protestors slain by Iranian authorities were observed on some people. To learn more, watch the video below.
