Weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo offices in downtown Paris, France, on Wednesday afternoon, January 7, 2015, was attacked by two masked gunmen. A total of 12 people were killed, including a cartoonist and editor in chief of Charlie Hebdo, Stephane Charbonnier. Perpetrators use a Kalashnikov and rocket launchers. The shooting happened after Charlie Hebdo tweet about caricature leader of militant group Islamic State (IS / ISIS), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Magazine Charlie Hebdo is controversial and often publish satirical cartoons. This magazine office often gets cordon of police for publications.

A number of state leaders condemn this attack, among others, the President of Chile Michelle Bachelet, United States Secretary of State John Kerry, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
