Tantalus - album Pastiche 1977

  • 2 anni fa
Taped from the original vinyl.

Beautiful British folk album, the only one released by Tantalus, supposedly pressed in just 500 copies, with a very good sound. The album features a combination of electric and acoustic guitars, some light keyboards and a fine combination of voices, expecially the female voice. There is some choice cover material as well, including Dylan, James Taylor, Carole King, Gerry Rafferty and Graham Nash tunes. Track 13 is based on J. S. Bach's music with Ralph McTell's lyrics.

Sheila Bramley - vocals.
David Holliday - vocals, guitar, electric guitar, bass.
Chris Shakespear - vocals, acoustic guitar.
Barry Farnsworth - guest on keyboards.
