I Never Knew -Sunset Music Co 1979.
Probably around 1978-79 I heard this unbelievable band for the first time during the Sacramento Jazz Festival. Superior musicians in my style and good friends to be with. Unfortunately their leader moved on and he died in the early eighties. In 1979 they brought out an LP from a concert in Germany, which became a treasure in my collection. I just found out that that the remaining members have issued this recording on CD and I would suggest to any traditional jazz fan to get this in their collection. It is available through a company called Blue Swing
