USS Seaviper is a 2012 war/action/drama film directed by Ralph A. Villani, starring Tim Large, Jeremy King, and Robb Maus.
Plot - The German U-Boat, U-234, from the port of Kiel is trading goods with the Japanese. The USS Seaviper must locate and stop this dangerous exchange. The captain of the USS Seaviper must go ashore to conduct a reconnaissance on an island near Sumatra, but the ship is left in the hands of Mister Cutter after the executive officer is wounded in battle. A conflict between Cutter and the leader of the boat endangers the submarine. Seaviper is trapped beneath the surface, with dwindling oxygen, and a Japanese destroyer hunts them from above. Damage to the boat also calls her survival into question. They have to fight the Japanese destroyer and bring back information on U-235 at Pearl Harbor.
