Nathan Collins is Shown a Straight Red Card for SHOCKING and Reckless Kung-Fu Kick on Jack Grealish-

Nathan Collins received a straight red card for one of the worst innings of the season when his Kung-Fu kick on Jack Grealish reduced Wolves to ten men.

As both players went for the ball on the far left of the touchline, Collins lunged at the England star with a full kick to the stomach, leaving Grealish slumped on the pitch.

Collins pleaded not guilty, but the summer signing left referee Anthony Taylor no choice but to give the defender his running orders.

Wolves paid £20.5m for the defender this summer, a record for an Irish-born player, and he has been an ever-present in the Premier League this season. However, he will now face a three match ban for his terror tackle.

Speaking at half-time about the tackle, BT Sport pundits criticized the moment with Rio Ferdinand saying: "I wouldn't have too many questions about it." It's a rush of blood to the head.

While former City star Joleon Lescott questioned what Collins was trying to do because he is not trying to clear the ball.

Fellow pundit Rachel Brown-Finess also criticized the Centre-back, saying: "He realizes how stupid he was and how he let his team down."

The incident after half an hour completed a first half of misery for Bruno Lage's men, which began in the first minute when Grealish opened the scoring for City with his first of the season.

Champions City were two goals up in a quarter of an hour, when Erling Haaland scored his eleventh goal of an already remarkable season for the Norwegian striker.
