Directed and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj under the banner of his Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures in association with Netflix, Khufiya is a story about a Raw operative Krishna Mehra, who is assigned to find down the mole selling India’s defense secret.
The movie stars Indian cinema’s one of the most amazing actresses Tabu, whose performance is being praised for the recently released Kartik Aryan starrer horror comedy movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. She is playing the character of spy Krishna Mehra, who is also grappling with her dual identity as a spy and as a lover.
Khufiya movie marks the 3rd partnership between Tabu and Vishal Bhardwaj after “Maqbool” and “Haider”. Vishal is also producing the movie’s music while Farhad Ahmed Delve is the man cranking the camera.
Along with Tabu the movie also features “Mirzapur” fame Ali Fazal, Wamika Gabbi, recently seen in Modern Love: Mumbai, veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi, Bangladeshi actress Ajmeri Haque Badho and Shataf Figar in pivotal characters.
