Crime against women increased around 20%, says NCRB

India witnessed strict laws made after the Nirbhaya case in Delhi on 16 December 2012. In heinous crimes, even the death penalty was made, but despite strict laws and strictness of the government, there has been a decrease in the cases of rape and molestation.
