Taliban cleric Rahimullah Haqqani has been killed in a suicide bombing. Bombing happened when Haqqani was addressing a gathering in a madrasa. The killing of Rahimullah Haqqani is considered a major setback for the Haqqani network. A few hours after the bomb blast, ISIS Khorasan Province i.e. ISKP took responsibility for the attack.
