Sri Lanka PM Ranil Wickremesinghe calls in armed forces; Terror module targeting PM Modi busted; more

Amid the ongoing protests in Sri Lanka, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe who is now serving as the acting president, called in armed forces to maintain law and order in the country.

Protesters said they did not want Wickremesinghe at the helm of the country's affairs as he was handpicked by Rajapaksa.

Meanwhile, A suspected terrorist module has been busted in Patna and two suspected terrorists have been arrested. According to cops, the module was planning to make India an Islamic nation by 2047. There was also a plot to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit on July 12.
