Amid the ongoing economic crisis and protests in Sri Lanka, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, said that India and Sri Lanka are closest neighbours and the two countries share deep civilizational bonds. Arindam Bagchi said that India stands with the people of Sri Lanka and they are following the the recent developments in the island nation.
