Left homeless by war, some Ukrainian families have moved into repurposed train cars

Vira Samsonova and Serhii Samsonov are among several Ukrainian families that face homelessness and now live in train carriages. The rail cars were converted into temporary housing in the Kyiv suburb of Irpin to shelter people whose homes were destroyed following the Russian invasion. The carriages are equipped with air-conditioning, toilets and satellite internet, and residents are given free hot meals daily.
