Agnipath Scheme Protests Spread To UP, MP, Delhi, Jammu As Youth Come Onto The Streets

On June 17 morning, protesters set trains on fire in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar as they continued to protest against the government’s Agnipath scheme. Agnipath is the new military recruitment policy introduced by the PM Modi led government. Protesters set trains on fire, vandalised public and police vehicles. In Uttar Pradesh, a mob entered a railway station in Ballia and set a train on fire.The railway property was also damaged. Videos of young men protesting on the streets of Meerut are all over the internet. Protests were also witnessed in Jammu, Indore, Delhi and other parts of the country. Watch the video to know more.
