North Korea's first match in that cup was against Brazil, they only lost 2-1 and played very well, so the government was excited and allowed the second match, against Portugal, to be broadcast live, it was shameful. When the players returned home, they were forced to stand up for 7 hours listening to criticism from journalists, the coach lost his job and was forced to work as a bricklayer.
