Eastern Himalayan vignettes

The jet stream plume over Everest, prayer flags atop Dzongri, Mt. Pandim in the Kangchenjunga National Park (pre sunrise) Kanchenjunga itself, yaks cross a suspension bridge and clouds roll in over Pumori. A waterfall in the Kanchenjunga National Park and rain forest greenery en route Bakhim and Tsokha from Yuksom village, en route Dzongri in Sikkim., India. A porter carries eggs and other expedition rations up to Dzongri and then you see Kanchenjunga from Darjeeling town's Planter's Club.

Forget the popular black teas or its flourishing tea Industries, once you land your feet here you will be stupefied by its beauty and grandeur, quite not like other hill stations of India. This is why Darjeeling is known (in a cliche-'ed fashion, albeit!) as '' The Queen Of the Hills''.
