ねねの道は高台寺の西側、東山の円山公園から清水寺方面へと抜ける全長約２５０メートルの美しい石畳の道です。豊臣秀吉の正室ねね（北政所）がこの地で余生を送っていたことから「ねねの道」と名付けられました。ねねの道を象徴する美しい石畳は必見です。

Nene no Michi is a beautiful cobblestone road with a total length of about 250 meters that runs from Maruyama Park in Higashiyama toward Kiyomizudera on the west side of Kodaiji Temple. It was named "Nene no Michi" because Hideyoshi Toyotomi's Seishitsu Nene (Kodai-in) spent the rest of his life here. The beautiful stone pavement that symbolizes Nene no Michi is a must-see.
