Dalit man in Karnataka beaten up, murdered for inter-faith relationship

Vijay Kamble (25), a resident of Karnataka’s Kalaburagi, was allegedly beaten up and brutally murdered over his inter-faith relationship.
Kamble’s family has claimed that his relationship was firmly opposed by the girl’s family.
His brother said that the girl’s family had threatened Vijay’s mother and father earlier. However, they had reached a compromise.
Police have arrested two suspects and are probing the possible involvement of the woman’s family in the murder.
