Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the word 'madarsa' shouldn't exist anymore and that emphasis should be on normal education for all at schools. “Teach the Quran to your children, but at home,” the chief minister said, adding that children are admitted to madrasas “in violation of their human rights”.
