The central government had a dream in the country.. The dream was to make the country open-defecation free.. In these few years, a lot of efforts have also been made.. People have been made aware.. To build toilets at Panchayati levels. But help has also been provided.. and now there is such a situation in the country that most of the people now use toilets only.. But despite so many efforts and public awareness campaigns and publicity etc., a survey by NFHS shows It is learned that 19 percent of the households do not even have a loop toilet.

केन्द्र सरकार ने देश में एक सपना देखा था.. सपना था देश को खुले में शौच मुक्त बनाने का.. इसे लेकर इन कुछ वर्षों में खूब प्रयास भी हुए हैं.. लोगों को जागरूक किया गया है.. शौचालय बनवाने के लिए पंचायती स्तरों पर सहायता भी प्रदान की गई है.. और अब देश में ऐसी स्थिति है, कि अधिकतर लोग अब शौचालयों का ही इस्तेमाल करते हैं.. लेकिन इतने प्रयासों और जन-जागरुकता अभियानों और प्रचार आदि करने के बावजूद, NFHS के एक सर्वे से पता चला है, कि 19 फीसदी परिवारों के पाश शौचालय ही नहीं है।
