Kamalathal, an 85-year-old grandma is fondly called ‘Idli Amma’ received a gift from India’s business tycoon Anand Mahindra. Earlier, she used to live in a hut. On Mother’s Day, she received a house with a special kitchen.

इडली अम्मा (Idli Amma)के नाम से मशहूर तमिलनाडु के वडिवेलम्पलयम की रहने वाली एम कमलाथल (Kamalathal) को मदर्स डे (Mother’s Day) के मौके पर आनंद महिंद्रा (Anand Mahindra) ने नया घर गिफ्ट किया। महंगाई के इस दौर में भी महज एक रुपये में इडली बेचने वाली इडली अम्मा काफी मशहूर है। उनके बारे में जानने के बाद आनंद महिंद्रा उनसे काफी प्रभावित हुए थे। जिस वजह से आनंद महिंद्रा ने कमलाथल को घर देने का वादा किया था।
