SC Stays Sedition Law: किन बड़े चेहरों पर दर्ज है देशद्रोह ? क्या होगी उनकी रिहाई ? | वनइंडिया हिंदी

The Supreme Court has given a historic order regarding the sedition law. The Supreme Court has stayed Section-124A of the IPC until the Center reconsiders or reviews its provisions. Till that time no case can be registered against anyone under this section in the country. Another important thing included in this order of the court is that those who are already facing sedition cases and are in jails can also file bail applications for their release.

देशद्रोह कानून को लेकर सुप्रीम सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ऐतिहासिक आदेश दिया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने IPC की धारा-124 A पर तब तक के लिये रोक लगा दी है, जब तक केन्द्र इसके प्रावधानों पर पुनर्विचार या इसकी समीक्षा नहीं कर लेती। उस वक्त तक देश में इस धारा के तहत किसी पर कोई मामला दर्ज नहीं किया जा सकेगा। कोर्ट के इस आदेश में एक और महत्वपूर्ण बात शामिल है, वो ये है कि जिन लोगों पर पहले से देशद्रोह के मामले दर्ज हैं और वो जेलों में बंद हैं, वे भी अपनी रिहाई के लिये जमानत अर्ज़ी दाखिल कर सकते हैं।
