High Hatters - I'm A Dreamer, Aren't We All

This brilliant orchestra weren't actually a real band, but a pseudonym for the in-house band made up of Victor studio musicians. The sessions were conducted by Leonard Joy who was one of the company's music directors. Most High Hatters recordings are from the late 1920s but stil recorded a few in the early 1930s. This one is from 1929, and as upbeat and virtuosic as most of their renditions. The vocal is by Frank Luther.
