In Hinduism, stale food is offered only on the day of Sheetala Saptami or Sheetala Ashtami. On this day, women worship Sheetla Mata according to the law. According to religious beliefs, by the grace of Mata Sheetla, there is an increase in wealth and food grains and one gets freedom from diseases. On this day fresh food is not prepared at home.Sheetala Saptami is on 24th March 2022, Thursday. Worship Muhurta of Sheetala Saptami will start from 06.21 pm and will continue till 06.34 in the evening. The total duration of the worship is 12 hours 14 minutes.
