The Umno supreme council has reaffirmed support for Perikatan Nasional, but wants better cooperation based on "respect" and "political consensus"
This came following the Umno Supreme Council meeting yesterday night, held to deliberate the views and suggestions brought up in an earlier meeting between BN parliamentarians.
Meanwhile, PAS has also expressed its undivided loyalty to Muhyiddin Yassin's leadership in the ruling coalition.
PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan also urged BN lawmakers to remain consistent in backing Muhyiddin.
