Chemmy Alcott is Britain’s top woman skier and one of our best medal hopes for the 2010 Winter Olympics, but right now her thoughts are focused on the World Championships.
The 12 day event has just got underway at Val D’Isere in France, and she will be pinning her hopes on the Women’s Giant Slalom on the 12th of February.
However it has been a turbulent season for the 26 year old from Sussex.
She broke her ankle during training in Canada last November and has only just made a comeback to racing.
In this video Chemmy talks about the injury, the importance of the World Championships, and her chances of success.
