The evolution of the local electoral reform movement was mirrored by developments among the substantial number of Malaysians living overseas who had been, through neglect and design, excluded from the electoral process. Today we speak to Bala Chelliah (President) and Nirmala Dewi Windgaetter (Secretary-General), the people behind who helped create a global Malaysian community through electoral reform activism which began in 2011.
