Transport groups appeal to the government to suspend oil excise tax

In a press conference on March 10, 2022 at a restaurant in Quezon Memorial Circle, several transport groups appealed to the government to suspend oil excise tax and avoid "band aid solutions" such as fuel subsidy and financial support to the current problem on oil price hike. The group plans to conduct a mass transport strike, which includes all means of transportations, early next week if government ignores their call.(Noel B. Pabalate)
