Sporadic shelling near Luhansk power station as Russian forces enter Ukraine separatist region

Sporadic shelling was heard near Luhansk Power Station on February 22, 2022, in the Ukrainian government-controlled area. The clashes come amid the ongoing escalation in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donbas. Russia recognised two areas, Donetsk and Luhansk, as "independent states" on February 21.
