हिंदी सिनेमा के दिग्गज गायक-संगीतकार बप्पी लाह‍िड़ी अब इस दुन‍िया में नहीं रहे. लंबे समय से बीमार चल रहे बप्पी दा ने 16 फरवरी की देर रात क्रिट‍िकेयर अस्पताल में अपनी आख‍िरी सांस ली. उनके निधन से बॉलीवुड समेत पूरा देश सकते में है.बप्पी दा के निधन ने उनके चाहने वालों को शोकाकुल कर दिया है, पर उनके बेटे बप्पा के दुख को शायद ही कोई समझ पाएगा. अपने पिता के आख‍िरी पलों में बप्पा लाह‍िड़ी सात समंदर पार लॉस एंजेल‍िस में थे. बप्पी लाह‍िड़ी के अंत‍िम संस्कार के लिए उनके बेटे बप्पा के लौटने का इंतजार किया जा रहा है. बप्पा के लौटने के बाद गुरुवार को बप्पी दा को अंत‍िम विदाई दी जाएगी. उनका अंत‍िम संस्कार पवन हंस श्मशान घाट में किया जाएगा.पिछले साल इंड‍ियन आइडल शो के बप्पी दा स्पेशल एप‍िसोड में सिंगर के पर‍िवार का एक वीड‍ियो दिखाया गया था. बप्पी दा के पोते स्वास्तिक बंसाल ने अपने घर और दादा की उपलब्धियों को फैंस के साथ साझा किया था. इसी दौरान बप्पी दा के बेटे बप्पा लाह‍िड़ी ने बताया था कि उनके पिता एक बेहतरीन पिता हैं और उनके सबसे अच्छे दोस्त भी. उन्होंने कहा था कि वे अपने पिता को बहुत मिस करते हैं.बप्पा ने इस वीड‍ियो में बताया कि उन्हें लॉस एंजेल‍िस में एक साल से ज्यादा समय हो गया है. और हालात की वजह से वे अपने प‍िता से मिल नहीं पाए हैं. वीड‍ियो में बप्पी दा की बेटी ने भी खुद को खुशक‍िस्मत बताया कि उन्होंने बप्पी दा के घर जन्म लिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि बप्पी लाह‍िड़ी एक बहुत ही अच्छे पिता हैं और उन्होंने अपने दोनों बच्चों को हर खुशी दी है.

The whole country including Bollywood is in shock due to his death.The demise of Bappi Da has mourned his fans, but hardly anyone will understand the grief of his son Bappa. In the last moments of his father, Bappa Lahiri was in Los Angeles across the seven seas. Bappi Lahiri's funeral is being awaited for his son Bappa to return. After Bappa's return, Bappi Da will be given a final farewell on Thursday. His last rites will be performed at Pawan Hans crematorium.Last year, a video of the singer's family was shown in the Bappi Da special episode of the Indian Idol show. Bappi Da's grandson Swastik Bansal shared the achievements of his house and grandfather with the fans. During this, Bappi Da's son Bappa Lahiri had told that his father is a great father and also his best friend. He said that he misses his father a lot.
