Sambhal assembly seat is considered very important in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. This seat is called the impregnable fort of the Samajwadi Party. This time there is a contest between Iqbal Mehmood of SP, Rajesh Singhal of BJP and Nida Ahmed of Congress. All the three candidates are hitting the electoral fray with great strength and Trying best to woo the voters.

उत्तर प्रदेश की सियासत में संभल विधानसभा सीट को काफी अहम माना जाता है.इस सीट को समाजवादी पार्टी का अभेद्य क‍िला कहा जाता है.इस सीट पर लगातार 5 बार से सपा के चुनाव च‍िन्‍ह साइक‍िल पर मुहर लगती रही है.संभल सीट पर बीजेपी अभी तक एक बार ही जीत का परचम लहराने में कामयाब रही है.इस बार यहां सपा के इकबाल महमूद, बीजेपी के राजेश सिंघल और कांग्रेस की न‍िदा अहमद के बीच मुकाबला है.तीनों ही उम्मीदवार बड़ी मजबूती के साथ चुनावी मैदान में ताल ठोक रहे हैं और वोटर्स को लुभाने की पूरी कोशिश कर रहे हैं.
