The Supreme Court on Friday revoked the one-year suspension of 12 BJP MLAs from the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. The MLAs were suspended for one year starting July 5, 2021 from the Assembly for allegedly misbehaving with the presiding officer.
While quashing the suspension, the Supreme Court termed the decision as ‘unconstitutional and arbitrary’, and said the resolution was illegal and "beyond the powers of the Assembly". Watch video,

Maharashtra Assembly से निलंबित हुए 12 BJP MLAs को Surpeme Court से बड़ी राहत मिली है. दरसल जुलाई 2021 में निलंबित किए गए विधायकों पर सुनवाई करते हुए कोर्ट ने इस फैसले को असंवैधानिक बताया है. साथ ही सभी 12 BJP MLAs का निलंबन रद्द कर दिया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस मामले में तल्ख टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि ये फैसला असंवैधानिक और मनमाना है. देखिए वीडियो
