ALLEN PARK CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 2021 PARK STREET KOLKATA INDIA II
An annual Christmas festival on Kolkata's Park Street, with Christmas carols, live music, theme lighting, special choir performances and delectable food.
Kolkata Christmas Festival has become an annual attraction in the city’s calendar. This year, 2021, it is scheduled to be held from December 20 to 30. It will be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee, at Allen Park on Park Street (Mother Teresa Sarani), in the presence of representatives from all Christian denominations and members of all communities.
Every year, Park Street comes alive with beautiful lighting, Christmas carols, special choir performances, food stalls, and live music by the city's most popular performers and bands. However, like last year, in light of the ongoing pandemic restrictions, this year too there will be no food stalls on Park Street or in Allen Park. The good news is that the choirs and the live bands will be there, as usual, to enthrall us all with their music from 5-9 p.m. on December 21, 22 & 23, and after the inauguration on December 20.
This unique celebration of the joy of Christmas is organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal, in association with Kolkata Municipal Corporation, the Apeejay Surrendra Group, and members of the Christian community
Allen park is well conected from all major destinations of Kolkata. Nearest metro railway station ls PARK STREET & MAIDAN.
