The premise of this beautiful play is first love and the fickleness of adolescence. The narrative follows a lovely blonde French boy Julien who is transported to an English beach resort for the summer to study English alongside his classmates. He meets and "falls in love" with a girl Janet there, but when she rejects him in favor of an older adolescent Jean-Pierre, his attention and emotions are quickly switched to him. A heartfelt and thoughtful story.
