US naval and other military personnel gathered in Hawaii on December 7, 2021, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbour attack. The ceremony was held near where the USS Utah sank, following the Japanese strike on Pearl Harbour. More than 2,000 Americans died in the 1941 attack, triggering the US’ entry into World War II.
