Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Gorakhpur is all set to get a Rs 8,600 crore fertilizer plant, to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. Meanwhile, at a joint rally in western Uttar Pradesh's Meerut on Tuesday, Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary are likely to formally announce their alliance.
