Kisan Mahapanchayat In Mumbai's Azad Maidan: Farmer Leaders Give Call To Defeat BJP in Elections

After the NDA government announced the repeal of the Farm laws in the upcoming winter session of parliament, protesting farmers have upped the ante and are now demanding a law for Minimum Support Price of crops. Farmer leaders have also slammed the govt for taking a year to announce the repeal of the laws which has seen over 700 farmers die in the protests. Kisan Mahapanchayat, a massive gathering of farmers and worker unions was held in Mumbai’s Azad Maidan under SSKM umbrella which saw protest leaders like Yogendra Yadav, Rakesh Tikait give a call to defeat the BJP in upcoming polls to ‘teach them a lesson’.
