Not yet clear if Omicron more transmissible or causes severe disease, says WHO

Amid concerns over the detectability and transmissibility of the new Covid-19 variant — Omicron — the World Health Organisation on Sunday said it is not yet clear whether the variant of concern is more transmissible as compared to other variants, including Delta.
