OTT platforms to participate in International Film Festival of India

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur on November 20, said that for the first time OTT platforms and 75 young filmmakers will be the part of International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

“The 52nd International Film Festival of India will be held in Goa from November 20 till November 28. OTT platforms would be a part of it for the first time and 75 young filmmakers are invited,” said Union I&B Minister.

“For the first time, films from five nations will be showcased at IFFI. The acceptance of international filmmaker Martin Scorsese and Hungarian filmmaker István Szabó for the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award shows that IFFI is a big attraction globally,” added Anurag Thakur.
