University of Reading defends its decision to offer 14 scholarships to refugees

The University of Kent is among establishments to offer scholarships to refugees in the local area.

It comes as another university in Reading responded to a negative backlash by using the term "jog on", to critics. The comments were posted on Twitter and added that they were proud to offer the scholarships.
