Royal Navy ship sent to Dover to patrol English Channel amid migrant crisis

A Kent charity says it's only a matter of time until someone dies in the channel after a huge influx of migrants trying to reach the UK.

It comes as HMS Mersey's been sent to Dover.

It's thought more than 200 people have attempted the treacherous crossing from Europe since November.
