Kent prepares as prospect of event cancellations loom larger from Coronavirus

That is the message from the Prime Minister as he announced new drastic measures to tackle the spread of the deadly disease.

It comes as the number of confirmed cases in the UK has soared to more than 1500 and officials say these measures are needed to save lives.
