After over one year of agitation over farm laws, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Friday that the Centre will repeal the three controversial laws which were passed in Parliament in September last year. PM Modi apologized and said that the government failed to convince a section of farmers. There is a wave of happiness among the farmers sitting at the UP gate on this decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The protesters expressed happiness by distributing jalebis. Farmers were seen feeding each other jalebis and sweets. At the same time, the farmers say that until they get it in writing, they will remain at the border. Watch this video.
